Artists always learn from those who came before them. No one can claim their artwork is completely original. We might not exactly copy other artists, but even if we did, copying never makes us great artists. Great artists pull inspiration from multiple sources. They know when to assimilate and when to accommodate their style to fit the work they are creating.

During these 10 weeks of Zoom playshop sessions, Rassouli will guide you to learn from those who came before us, and to steal their inspiration and ideas in a way that become totally yours, rather than a copy of theirs. You will be encouraged to dive deeper than the surface and learn what inspired the style of great artists. Why did they make certain choices? What were they trying to accomplish, so you will be able to take their ideas and own it.


Learn and practice the art of thievery in painting,
and use the approach in your relationships, career and in your life.
